This series of portraits, named as Kerala Darsanam (Kerala Landscapes) are being exhibited from November 2 to 15, 2007 It is fourth time that Eby’s exhibition of painting is being held in the City…

“I paint landscapes because these are changing constantly and rapidly. You open your window, and you see a beautiful sight, the next day it is not there. The environment is under threat, all this in the name of development. It is an attempt at marking something that may not be there tomorrow. There is a hill one day and the sun rises from behind it, and the next day….it is gone and the sun is there all of a sudden,” says Eby.

Not for him abstracts or figurative works but from his philosophical journey throughout the state and its splayed light and how it plays with leaves, land and sea via his work of art.
