What, exactly, does World Post Day involve? I think many rural residents still rely completely on the Postal Department, but how many of us write letters/ inland letters/postcards, in this age of Internet telephony, emails, mobile phones, cheap long-distance calls, and SMS?

Perhaps, in the days to come, philately will also become a a hobby of the past….
