Desserted at Olive Beach

Olive Beach has been described as “Bangalore’s most Miami-esque hot spot” and for good reason. The interiors are visual therapy, the food is divine and the desserts are out of this world. What I like best is the visual dimension to the way your order is served up. Thought I’d share an eyeball popper or two.

Location : 16 Wood Street, Ashok Nagar.

So delectably irresistible, everything in these pictures vanished after 30 seconds …

fyi. miami (especially south beach) is known for music, bars, skimply dressed and undressed women, the beach, the night life, etc. i am not sure i get the connection between a bangalore restaurant serving a new york style cheescake with a cherry topping and miami. that being said, the pics and the food look lovely. is that a crab cake in pic number 3?

i just took a look at charles haynes pics. OMG. The buffet spread looks fabulous. but, what I am really impressed with is the ability of charles to take that many pics. I would be eating not clicking. Thanks to charles for his patience. Also, i noticed that many of the plates presented included many types of cold italian cured meats. i hope that they have sort of signage to alert the uncles and aunties. wouldnt want them to accidently eat non-veg ;-)

    thanks again charlie and sharath.

Maybe you’re right, “Radman”. The Miami tag may not be appropriate. I picked it up on a review on NYT travel reviews. Guess it’s more Mediterranean than anything else.
