I invite you to come watch my next play called Waiting for Lefty! No comedy this time, the play is dramatic and thought provoking and at Rangashankara this time too!

“Waiting For Lefty” by Version One Dot Oh!(VODO) is a vigorous and confrontational work by Clifford Odets based on the 1934 strike of unionized New York cab drivers. The dramatic style of the play is considered a prime example of a genre known as “revolutionary” or “agit-prop” theatre.

Date: July 5th and July 6th

The play is a fund raiser for “Sattva” an emagazine that my friends edit and report for. So do come support our cause!

Sattva is a monthly e-magazine focusing on the the social change process in Bangalore. The magazine has been in operation since September 2006 and has spanned 9 issues on themes ranging from Waste management to Traffic to Children.
