Cubbon Park or Car park…
Being a pride to the city, I took few visitors to Cubbon Park few days back and was severely shocked to see the haphazard way vehicles were parked inside the garden area and the parking attendants were busy collecting money and encouraging more vehicles to move inside the park.
it pains to see such heritage places being mutilated and administration seems not to care!!
Many countries do have a law on Prohibition of driving / parking motor vehicles elsewhere than on roads / designated parking places ( UK > Section #34, Road traffic act 1988). Are we even considering it?
A very good point. In fact even driving into cubbon park irrespective of you are a 2 or 3 wheeler should be banned. Let there be some lung space with out carbon monoxide pls.
