Run for a cause!

ld_logo.gifLovedale was established in 2001 as a non-profit company based in Bangalore. They take orphaned and abandoned children under their shelter and look after their welfare and development including quality education.

Lovedale Foundation is home to disadvantaged children from all over India. They provide nourishment, clothing and shelter and also impart quality education and training in life skills to children.

They are organising a 5 km Run for Hope event tomorrow starting from St. Josephs’ Indian High School (next to Mallya Hospital) at 8:30 am on Sunday, June 10.

    I hope it doesnt take a few hours to run 5K. On a serious note, Lovedale and organizations like this are the unsung heroes in India. Good luck with the race. i will be there in spirit. I am a newcomer to this blog and have enjoyed it vicariously. Cheers.
