It is raining time in Bangalore, Both outside and inside the theaters, Mungaaru Maley has crossed 150 successful days across Bangalore and Karnataka, Only in Bangalore it is running in more than 16 theaters and also created a history in PVR cinemas by a successful 150 days with 5 shows daily (from last week it is 4 shows daily) and all are HOUSE FULL, I guess no other movie in PVR was made to show this many days.

Overall i would like to tell the movie as a great team work, As everything is perfect in the movie like Story,Music,Photography,Lyrics,Acting,Direction etc…

At this moment i would like to thank the MM team for giving us a great movie.

Awesome movie this. A must watch.

I like the simplicity and the way nature is portrayed in this movie.

Its different from the coventional way of making movies in india.

Undoutedly the best movie i have ever watched.

Frankly speaking, there was a very bad opinion among people includin kannadigas bout Kannada film industry, i dont know the exact no of movies that was released last yr, but sources say out of all only 2 were successful, jogi and amruthadhare!
this yr Mungaru Male is a great break!!
being a non-kannadiga i don’t really know how I got into this but from the time i’m up from bed til i hit it back again, I keep humming ‘ondhe ondhu saari…’ :)
    awesome songs!!

Its a great movie..great songs… all the time i used to see software engineers hearing to different language songs… but now a days i found many people from different states also started hearing to these songs….. my shared directory of these songs are copied by many people in the lab….. and many people started asking me the meaning of these songs..and to my surprise people started learning kannada and they are showing lots of interest in this now a days.. its a great revolution…

Good to know that anisuthide is an old tune. I am always happy when old tunes are a hit in today’s age.

I am happy to see the positive influence this has had, after reading Sreenivasa Reddy’s comment. If people want to learn Kannada out of their own interest, nothing like it! You cannot put a price on such influences.

    Kudos to the team!

Naren: About Anisuthide being an old tune, what exactly do you mean? Is it that the song was already composed by someone else 15 years back? I’m curious – considering you already have sold the ‘story’ to another reader (Chitra) here!
