Recently (yeah…we believe you! Ed! ) I’d taken some pics of the work that has commenced on M G Road for Namma Metro. Here they are:

The commencement of the boulevard on M.G Road, from St. Marks Road side:

What is (was!) still visible on the boulevard leading upto pic above:

A view of the barricades put up by the authorities. You now know what BMRC MD V.Madhu meant when he said” We will take over 1/4th of M.G Road…”

M/s Navyuga Engg. going about earth excavation work, for piling:
