One at a Time, Please…
We went to Garuda Mall, to see “Little Miss Sunshine”. (Metroblogs doesn’t do movie reviews so nothing further to be said about that eat-popcorn-and-pass-your-time movie.) As we went from the parking lot to the lift, I saw this:
I was very tickled by where the sign has been put. And it clearly says that only ONE lucky Senior Citizen can use the seat at a time. One would think that bench would be far more useful upstairs, when older people can rest their weary feet while others go traipsing up and down the endless shops. But no, they (or rather he or she, remember it’s only one) must sit in the basement just outside the lifts!
Nice pic and post! You must send it to Garuda Mall.
nice.. thr are people to think of age old people in this commercial world.
Nice movie too.
Did not understand the concept of only ONE person ..!! Why only one ? I can not see the board saying so ?
Also i guess they have suggestion box at ground floor; You can drop in there. Who knows they might implement the idea !!
Saaya, look at the sign. It says ‘Senior Citizen’ (Singular) as opposed to ‘Citizens’ (Plural). Hence ‘Only one person’.
Hey Deepa,
Nice observation ;-)This makes me remind of one joke:We have “Beware of Dog” outside houses and in turn there would be more than one Dog,this is a similar kind of example where “s” has been missed.
May be you can inform them about the same.
