Here is a Bangalore based initiative called merasnap.com making it easier for photographers to add their digital photos in the online cart for printing, pay online and mention the address where to deliver the prints anywhere in India….A great concept and very useful for those staying away from Bangalore and wish to send their photo’s to their friends and relatives in India…. I am eager to test this out, if works will help me get many prints sitting at home!!

Great! Bangalore needed something like this. Their prices are pretty good too. Great find, Rajesh!

Had read of this venture sometime back. Happy to see your post, Rajesh. Perhaps you should interview the person behind it? Cheers, Ravi

    Rajesh,
This is a one of the many clones for online photo printing services.
Also, I think the word “initiative” isn’t suited for all out commercial ventures.

    Raghu,

as far as i know this is the first one i came across, will be glad to know more…

In business, an initiative is a readiness to embark on a new venture. (definition)

Can’t access the site, seems to be down right now. Another more popular service is SNAP GALAXY. Rs.4 for a 4×6 print + 10 prints for free.

    http://www.snapgalaxy.in/

You can even have the snaps delivered anywhere in the world.

Also, isn’t their logo kind of too similar to Picasa?

    Hi,
This is to say that after Radio Mirchi has started airing only Kannada songs it is not as good as it was before. Pro kannada peple may say a lot of things about it but what about people who do not know the language.
Please revert back to playing Hindi Songs.

Wow… the logo does have an uncanny resemblance to Picaca’s.

Rajesh U hav struck!!!!! From past few days ur posts are creating Ripples.
watever reason may be, but i like the reply messages. The mentioned service or Business is not new. There are several as you all Know. the picsquare is one among them. It featured in IT.com some years ago. may be 2001. IT is also bangalore Based AFAIK. Mera snap is not bad. I like their other service Regarding Email or Information. The write-up on it could be Nice of you. I strongly agree with ravi, u should interview them(1 more ripple :-)).
I wish the PPl Behind its Service, All the Best.

Nivedita, u r bringging off topic to the post. It is very Very Very……. (and many more very)
Good that Mirchi is palying lot Kannada songs. I welcome its move whole Heartedly. Its the demand for long period which they hav honoured(coz they may lose VK readership). Cheers to Benett, colomn & Co. Now The Radio mirchi will be No.1 for ever. anyway its Sakkath “HOT” Magaa!!!! FYI, If i like Kannada songs its not Pro-Kannada, its the Secular opinion. Please Dont brand or use Pro-Kannada. I strongly oppose to it. If am in any Hindi heartland and i feel want to listen Kannada Songs, Will U ppl Honour???
