Nursing, Bribes and CBI…
Tired of making money via setting up technical / engineering colleges, try your hands on Nursing! Recently CBI has un-earthed a racket of getting recognition to setup and run Nursing collages in Karnataka, some of these institutions are based in and around Bangalore…
The CBI has filed FIR targets 23 nursing institutions in south India to get mandatory INC approval via bribing despite several deficiencies. A person from Chitradurga is said to have played an important role in getting permissions to these colleges for a gain. Claims the CBI.
Out of 23 colleges, three nursing institutions are from Karnataka. CBI has dispatched a team to Karnataka to probe other nursing institutes. Karnataka has over 1,253 nursing institutions with an intake of nearly 60,000 students. During the preliminary inquiry, CBI found large-scale monetary transaction between the college managements and INC officials.
Perhaps with some spotlight on such practices we would get to hear more…albeit the control mechanism which seems to have severely failed within these govt departments and requires such external enforcement agencies to act making it normal course of monitoring and tracking….Obvious to the fact the main sufferers would be the students who have trusted these institutions and would now be deserted as usual….
