Painted Platters is chocolate heaven!

After hearing a lot about this place, finally got a chance to visit it on Friday. Chocolate Painted Platters is the name and if you’re a dessert and sweet lover, it’s definitely worth visiting. It’s located in Jayanagar 7th Block and the exact address is: # 260/79, 2nd Main, 7th Block, Jayanagar. From Sangam Circle, you need to take a right and keep going down that road till you see Painted Platters on your left!

They have the cutest menus and we got ones shaped like CDs, complete in CD boxes!

What we ordered: a) A coconut and lemon grass crème brulee: Really nice and soft, but very sweet! If you like the melt in your mouth sweet stuff, it’s worth trying.

b) A dark and light chocolate: which was essentially a large tall shaped chocolate creation loaded with cream and more chocolate inside and topped with more cream! Phew! It can’t possibly get more sinful.

c) A strawberry ice cream torte: which was essential strawberry cake (but actually chocolate cake with pieces of strawberry) topped with cream!

All the dishes come in plates with chocolate etchings on them. So you can basically have the dessert and whatever you can find on the plate!

And then ttere’s also a Pure & Natural next door for salads and juices, in case you’re feeling guilty after all that dessert!

If you’re a chocolate fanatic, do visit Rajesh’s earlier post on Corner House.

When they first opened the place, it was actually on CMH Road, Indiranagar. Not sure why they moved out but the current location is right behind NCJ.
