Black Kite in her Nest
A pair of black kites (also called Pariah Kites) have built a nest right opposite my apartment balcony, and here is a picture of the female warding off a rock pigeon that dared to come too close.
Black Kites are now proliferating in Bangalore, thanks to the clogged up drains and nullahs. But however common they are, they are still magnificient birds.
These birds can be seen in R.T. Nagar area in the morning time currently
