Lost and Found Treasure @ Cubbon Park
– Sculptures @ Cubbon Park…
Cubbon park, a great retreat for bangaloreans, especially when it is weekend morning, the peaceful lush green surrounding’s help recharge the visitors, we do find it very nice place to stroll and unwind…
While strolling in the cubbon park one Saturday morning we find these fascinating sculptures made in stone perhaps the remains of a workshop conducted by Mysore minerals Sometimes in Sept 05.
The artisans must have had a great time translating the creativity out of stones…
Some of the work was done complete some was half done proving it to be agreat workshop and thus great work of Art…there are some diff type of stones exhibits kept by Mysore Minerals which also are worth a look…
Really its a nice place for morning walk, I don;t know ehy they allow vehicles to pass through this park from Maharni college towards Kasturba Road, they should stop it, as it increases the pollution inside the park.
Thanks
I had fascination to visit Cubban Park when i was a kid. I did not use to miss this place every time i came to Bangalore( also bannerughatta and lal bhag )
from last ten years I limited my time pass only to lalbagh, sine i heard the rest two are dead and they’re pathetic too.
Is it Cubbon park or cubban park?
I used to visit Cubbon Park with my Mamaji. He would take us here on the train and then we would walk around Vidhan Soudha. The sad thing is that I have not taken my own kids! The sculptures look wonderful. Thanks.
