    nice ones!! this shows are very useful to see the varieties and fab colours, a treat for phtographers and off-course gardeners…

    Thanks for the pics. Just had a quick question… how bad was the crowd? I used to go to the flower show fairly regularly as a kid. However, when I went again in ’99, after a long break , there was just waaaay too much crowd, and a lot of dust! It was a miserable experience. It was tough to even take a look at the flowers. You seem to have had a good time, that’s why the question. Would you recommend going the next year? Do let us know.

    For all of us who cannot visit the Lalbagh Flower Show, you have literally transported the flowers to us. This is by far one of the most ‘colorful” blogs. It is upated frequently and is a real treat to read and look at pictures. Thank You again for all your blog entries.

    Chitra, I went early in the morning when most Bangaloreans would have still been in bed, which is probably the best time to go. Not sure about how crowded it gets later in the day.
