Splash of color

What exactly is this? Looks like a carpet, it isn’t. A painting? Close, but it isn’t exactly that as well.

It took 3 people all of 9 hours to finish ‘it’, they started at 7 pm and were done only by 4 am!

    Obviously its a rangoli. The rangoli is of a “srichakra” into which the shakthi is invoked,prayed

    Yes obviously, a rangoli. Right Srimathi – a srichakra.

    Wish I had my camera handy when I saw this splash of color inside a Temple last week. Done so meticulously with all the colors and measurements that I almost tried to sit on it thinking it was a shining new carpet!
