On track?

Following the report in Bangalore Metblogs last week by yours truly and the accruing overwhelming public/reader response, BMRC has finally decided to shake itself out of its self-induced stupor and in getting on with the job.

‘Nuff said, guys, that was a little leg pulling. *He He*

But the BMRC has taken an apparent step forward – that of advertising in the media for what it calls ‘pre-qualification’ of suppliers – whatever that means. Surely, this is a process/project driven step but for some reason, it sounds like there’s going to be more time involved – will there be a ‘pre-qualification’, ‘qualification’ and ‘post-qualification’??

Boy, as we all know, something is of the essence here and no, its not vanilla. Hopefully, their action will not result in a lemon either. Imagine a scenario where no contractor is found eligible/qualified enough. And with traffic growing by heaps & out-of-bounds, we simply do not have time.

So to use a topical quote here from a hero – Lets roll, BMRC!

Namma Metro is truly missed, madly needed and deeply wanted else this garden city citizens are gonna turn savage, what with all the road rage!

Good observation Ravi. So you too look for more than just the news in the newspapers. I try that as well ( “step to decongest Bangalore”)
