    Small correction
    Bay leaves are not called karibEvina soppu. Curry leaves/Kari patta are/is called karibEvina soppu.
    The former,i.e, bay leaves are most extensively used in Moghalai cooking.

    What do you call tharbooja,watermelon,jackfruit,pineapple,banana in kannada ?

    Hi Sirisha,
    tharbooja = Karbooja
    watermelon = Kallangadi
    jackfruit = Halasina Hannu
    pineapple = Ananas
    banana = Bale Hannu
