Want to keep your kids occupied this summer holidays? And yet make sure they’re doing something creative?

Try class and pottery classes – it’s sure to keep them engrossed and happy!

Clay Station in HSR Layout is a good place to head – I have been to the place and can recommend it highly. The facilities and atmosphere of the place is great for kids.

Pottery Programs for Children @ Clay Station May 2010

CS 110 Hands on clay
This is a fun program that introduces children to joy of working with natural clay. Children will learn very basic hand building techniques & they will be introduced to working on pottery wheel.
Age : 6 to 10 years
Duration : 5 sessions
Cost : Rs.1000 ( Including clay supply & firing charges).
When : May 17th to 21st 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

CS 121 Introduction to Clay Modeling & Pottery
Students explore potters wheel and hand building techniques with hands on assistance to make basic forms like bowls and vases. Students will enhance the basic forms they have created by using surface decoration techniques.
Age : 8 to 16 years
Duration : 10 sessions
Cost : Rs.2000
When : May 17th to 29th 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

OST 010: Summer Open Studio Program
Suitable for children of all age groups, this is a great way to try out various techniques for working with clay. Each session will be structured around a theme that would help children learn and enhance various basic hand building techniques. At the end of the session, children can opt to fire the articles they made or take them home to air dry.
Time : Fridays, 10:30AM to 1:30 PM .
Charges : Rs.200 per session.
