I always enjoy your updates on RS and their new plays.

Wanted to mention that this policy of purging and closing off comments critical of posts is a terrible idea. Sharath Bhat’s Commercial st post was rightly criticized by 2 comments and now both of them are gone. Shame on Metblogs if they can’t handle the heat.

Yes, it is a real nuisance to receive a stream of unwanted phone calls from insurance, real estate, travel agencies and so on so forth all the time,virtually colgging the cell inbox. Itis higly disturbing partcularly during office hours and nights.

We must stop this non-sense tree cutting at any cost to save Bangalore for our future. Currently they are cutting trees in Agara Flyover area.
The strech from Agara to sarjapur junction has a green tress belt, which is being cut as I’m writing this, and this nedds to be stopped, it’s URGENT!

Apart from the small things we all do, any idea how to minimize this big e-trash that is constantly generated !!
I have this thought that everytime we do something we leave a carbon footprint ! even the very act of blogging, needs servers to be running somewhere to host its content (24×7).
Blog less ? delete old emails that are of no use ? (even though you might have Gigabytes of space, I say better to delete them )
Delete old blogs and articles that is of no use ?)

Any more ideas ? What can we do to minimize the e-trash we constantly generate ?

Sir,

Wikipedia is quite right when it talks about semantics as denoting a problem of word selection. In the context of this blog post, my comment was not about word selection, but about language selection.

It is certainly your privilege to decide what words and what language you will use in your blog post. As a reader, it is my privilege to comment on the same. As long as I am not revealing anybody’s personal information nor using bad language, everything’s good. If you don’t want to have a dialog, that is your choice too and I won’t force it.

I actually like your posts – they are more useful than some of the other writers here. Especially your posts about food. I have noted some of them to try out the next time I am in Bangalore. I thought you’d be open to some sincere reader feedback. Doesn’t appear to be so.
