Karnataka rejoices on November 1st…that’s Rajyotsava Day, the anniversary of the founding of the State. The State, and its capital city, both wear a festive look on that day, and everything is highly decorated.

Here’s a bus:

Though the bus looks really beautiful, I am still unable to understand how on earth the bus driver is able to drive the vehicle anywhere! I feel it must be like a Muslim lady trying to peer through her burqa….! But since all the buses which are decorated this way seemed to have made their way about town without mishap, I guess the drivers can see their way OK!
