Lovely sketches in the BBMP office
Recently, I had been to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Office in N R Square to attend a meeting between BBMP officials and citizens concerned about tree-felling.
But when I was there, I noticed these very beautiful sketches on the walls of the meeting room:
I don’t know who made those sketches…but they were so lovely to look at. There are, possibly, many such works of art strewn over public offices everywhere….
Thanks for the pictures. The sketches are very nice indeed.
Nice sketches. You are right Deepa there must be a lot of work around like that in the public offices.
I am surprised that the artist did not sign at the bottom.
Perhaps the artist had..the sketches were at an inconvenient location for viewing and I couldn’t really get too close to see. As it is, one can see the paper deteriorating in one frame…but the framing has been done with elegance and good taste…
Hi Deepa,
I’m writing to you from Text 100 Public Relations, and we are handling the PR for the 10th edition of BangaloreIT.in 2007. (oct 29 – Nov 1) Since you love everything about Bangalore, IT can’t be far behind. So was just wondering if you along with other like minded bloggers, will be interested in meeting with Mr. Vidyashankar, IT secretary of Karnataka to get a understanding of what is happening in the IT front and what is new about BangaloreIT.in 2007. If you’re interested, which I’m hoping u will be, do drop me a mail and we’ll take it on from there. http://www.bangaloreitevent.in
