Metro Update

Lots of activity happening on the Namma Metro work on MG Road. Here are some glimpses:

The chopped trees that once fringed the M.G Road boulevard:

To the right of these trees is this present look/condition of the boulevard:

To the left of these trees is this…well, the former boulevard!

More on this tree soon being taken away for transplanting ( or is it translocating?!)

thanks ravi for these updates. you are going about the chronicling well.

    ravi unsolicited advice.
put the labels on transparent backgrounds no?, or perhaps use watermarks.
ofcourse, true netvaasi wouldn’t advocate anything less than CC. :)

    Thanks, Tarle-avare!
Just discovered that label bit in Irfanview. A little bit of sophistication is perhaps needed. Will do as you advise..though it might take a little time.
    :)

    Hey.. good work!
aft a long time checked out MG Road last week. Man the road is shrunk to half and for heaven’s sake my friend jumped in and told me they are not letting autos this way! I gave a sigh of relief!!
But what to do, to get something its always an unwritten rule that we have to lose something. here its half of my MG road!!

Hi, I just visited Delhi recently after ages and took the Delhi metro. Truly out of the world and with international standards. It was some expereience, and it has realy redifined the city’s public transport. We, at Bangalore need to move much faster and work on this at full throttle!
