Directions to Potluck Restaurant and a Side Review of Mast Kalandar
I have had a spate of requests to give the directions to Potluck, so here goes. I am giving both the directions as well as visual references.

I am giving directions from the Jayadeva Circle (Bannerghatta Checkpost) on Bannerghatta Road. Proceed through the underpass towards IIM-B. You will pass Shopper’sStop, and further down, the T junction where 100 ft Ring Road ends on Bannerghatta Road (Yes, Ring Roads in Bangalore are not always Ring Roads!) Go further, and if it is daylight, on the left-hand-side you can see Purva Heights, and during both day and night, on the right, you can see Mantri Elite. Take the next left road after this. On this road, a few yards ahead, you will see Mast Kalandar on your left hand side. Go a little further and you will see the Potluck sign. It is a house converted to a restaurant and still retains the “home” feel.
Yes , I know it is not very nice to give one restaurant as the landmark for another…but…vottodo, as we say! Mast Kalandar also started out with a USP similar to Poltuck, but it has become more upmarket now and is noticeably heavier on both the price and the grease factors. But the food remains pretty good overall! It was featured in the last issue of Simply Bangalore.
Ohh Potluck is opp Ranka Apts…..am planning to visit Potluck this weekend…& Mast Kalandar…well, its my all-time fav eatery in b’lore…love their combos…..I’ve been eating there for the past 2 yrs now…it surely has become a lil pricey but then its PUNJABI food…there is demand for it…n they keep coming up with pretty innovative stuff all the time.
Mehak, if you love PUNJABI food so much, why are you in B’lore at all?? Why do you go back to your pyare punjab!
Everybody wants to love in B’lore but wants to eat North Indian food!!! BULLSHIT!
