Anyone for a chilled beer?
How many of you have seen “Hot Pups” and ”Panchar Shop” in Bangalore ? I’m sure many of you have.
But I don’t think you would’ve seen the following one anywhere here. I know it’s not really related to Bangalore but it was too funny not to share… :-) Read more below to see what I’m talking about.

Can I have one child bear….oops, chilled beer, please?
Oh my goodness! ROFL!
Good one, Nisho. Online, I recently came across someone’s blog site that focusses on just these kind of typos on hoardings, banners etc etc
Hav u guys Running out of Ideas??? I think so. The above pic was circulated through E-mails since long. Many bloggers hav blogged on this pic. It is very sad that the blogger has not acknowledged the source of the pic. Should hav given due credit to the Unknown Person who has clicked it. Moreover its not an bangalore issue.
Today is not the day meant for posting funny things. Open your eyes. Kannu theredu nodi.
I didn’t read it properly, hence assumed that it was clicked somewhere around here. My bad!
I understand what you mean about today, Naren! I am sorry!
@Naren: Agreed on acknowledging the unknown photographer… corrected now.
Hello
There is a law in Karnataka that punishes people for misspelling of sign boards in commercial areas. I did a story on that many months ago. Can you tell in which area of the city this shop is?
@Debanish: I don’t think this photo was clicked in Bangalore. I received it today in my email and thought it’d be nice to share it here. Great to hear that there’s a law on misspelling of sign boards. Could you share the story you did?
Sounds more like it was taken in north India since the few sign boards are all in Hindi. If it was karnataka atleast there would be something in kanada.
Carlos
Well, the Hindi version is perfect.
Not again. We don’t come to Metblogs to read forwarded stuff! Spare us, pls!
Hindi version perfect ? It reads Thandi Wear not Thandi Beer.
Had seen this some years back.Dont think anyone in that area wld bother reading the english wordings.
Friends,
I had seen this at least an year ago (for sure) getting circulated through e-mails. The e-mail claims to have this shot somewhere in Bihar. If I remember, they even had the truck’s license plate or something focussed to highlight it’s Bihar. (Agreed, a truck with Bihar registration can be parked in Bangalore too!)
BWAHAHAHA. How right you are Raghu!
The mind reads the correct spelling, eh??
And to think I looked at it a couple of times.
SIGH!!!Sheesh.Thanks for the correction.
