Dining Out: Sikandar

Visited Sikandar, an Indian restaurant at Garuda mall last week and came away quite satisfied. The interiors are extremely pleasant and it also affords a nice view if you can get seats near the large windows. The seating arrangement is also cosy and sufficiently far apart from your neighbours so you don’t need to hear what they’re saying!

We cut straight to the main meal and ordered mutton, dal tadka and rotis. The mutton gravy was very well done, not too spicy and not too bland. And the dal tadka was equally delicious. It was a nice meal complimented by some red wine.

The prices are slightly on the higher side. A meal for two of us came to Rs. 800 (this was including 2 glasses of wine). It will probably be around Rs. 1000 if you have starters. But if you’re looking for some nice Indian food in a relatively pleasant ambience, do try out Sikandar.

It’s located at the top floor of Garuda mall.
