Give me the newspapaer please…!

I logged on the internet yesterday morning, and after finishing the usual routines of checking emails etc, I went for my daily does of epaper version of Vijaya Karnataka. The 42 page newspaper had so much stuff worth reading, I realized it is impossible to read everything online. So later in the day, sometime in the afternoon when I was out, I checked out a couple of newspaper shops for a copy of it. It turned out I was late. It was sold out everywhere and I had to settle back for the electronic version itself!

That apart, folks at VK have compiled a great issue for yesterday which packs as much about Karnataka as possible in those 42 pages – contemporary and history. You can read about everything, including but not limited to politics, society, culture, history, sports, cinema and other forms of entertainment and much much more. Many guest writers like Anantamurthy, Ramesh Arvind, Baragur have written about their views and visions on Karnataka. Puneet Rajkumar has written on the editorial page about their dream projects in the memory of Dr.Raj. You can still access yesterday’s edition online and I suggest you don’t miss it.

Besides the fact that they had a great edition yesterday, I think VK has emerged as the best newspaper that Bangaloreans can read. I especially never miss the articles by guest writers in the editorial page(like Dundiraj, CR Simha, Haldodderi Sudheendra, etc). Their overall news quality and the Bangalore supplement too are far better than any other newspapers that Bangalore has. I thank them for giving quality to their readers, and hope they continue to do the good work in keeping us informed and entertained.
