Visitors to Kodai and Ooty will swear by some delectable home made chocolates that are sold over there at classic ‘mom & pop’ type stores.

Well, you needn’t fret. Bangalore has its own ‘Ooty Chocolates’ store as well. Mr. Tilak Kumar and his family run the place. Chocolates are handmade using genuine, quality ingredients such as mint, nuts, almonds, raisins, butterscotch and their lipsmacking combinations.

They have a regular clientele, he says, reason why they don’t advertise much. Prices range from Rs 300+ per kilo going all the way to Rs 650+. For large orders, Mr. Kumar will even arrange deliveries right to your doorstep.

Though one can buy in any quantity you require, gift packs are always in demand with many customers who prefer them on birthdays, anniversaries and other special days. Companies too order from them for gifting purposes and Mr. Kumar can have logos incorporated too.

If you should be around Indiranagar sometime, particularly near the ESI Hospital on 7th Main, drop in. Its a small shop and unless your eyes are peeled, you might just miss the place.

Once there, go ahead and indulge your chocolate craving.
