Many of us know that Bangalore is also know as PUB city, In recent years there is an huge increase in the number of PUBS,BAR,Wine shop all over the city.


In Bangalore there is an unwritten law saying that every busy roadarea should be provided with at least a Wine shop to satisfy the needs of people :-) & that looks almost true because there is no any area left out without a BARWine shop in our city.

In Bangalore we can see different kind of places where they sell alcoholic drinks like High class hotels, Pubs, BAR & Resturant, Wine shops and also super bazaar, Out of these most popular ones are BAR & Restaurant.
During S.M.Krishna’s government they had been a step ahead & were planning to sell Beer in grocery shops too but later it was dropped.

During weekends & holidays these BAR & Restaurants will be jam packed & also one need to wait for few minutes in Parcel counter to get a drinks, where it is just pick the bottle & sell it, I guess 1. The numbers of BARS are not sufficient to the population of Bangalore or 2.The numbers of alcohol lovers are increased in Bangalore.

The funny thing about this BAR & Restaurants are the names, Usually many keep the god’s name for it like Lakshmi Wines,Venkateshwara BAR, Srinivasa Wines etc… One guy in Koramangala inner ring road has gone a step ahead & named his shop after a holy place “Horanadu” BAR & restaurant!

Anyway it is individual lifestyle of consuming alcohol & I don’t have any issues with it, after writing this post now I am searching for my glass of drink on my table!
