Know Bangalore?

Okay, Google Earth quiz is back, probably the last one as it takes far less time to write text only posts. Also, if you happen to work at Google, could you request GE team to refresh Bangalore. And a little better resolutions please. Thanks!

Gulp, Work or Glam? Figure these three different types of places. We can excuse you for #2, but if you dont know #1 and #3, please leave Bangalore and stop reading these blogs!

Hey, I love this game. Please don’t stop posting these.

I stayed in Bangalore for 2.5 years in the mid 90s and I recognized #1 and #3 immediately.

Is #2 also considered a landmark? I hadn’t heard about it before today.

@Vishwanath, Divyashree Chambers houses many cos. – Sun Microsystems, Ernst & Young, I2 Technologies (am not sure if it is still present there) etc…It is one of the earliest office buildings in B’lore to house the new economiy companies.

Looks like this one turned out easy as well. Naveen – I too hear that Divyashree Chambers was an early IT office building. Vishwanath – it isn’t a landmark in that sense. Rajkumar – ‘m’, ‘d’ and ‘r’ were the file names, if those letters count as clues :)

Putting the glass house in picture #1 made that easy. #2 had the hockey stadium, which I thought many may not know about (except employees of Sun, Cisco, E&Y and more). #3 is a place many have not seen well. I myself have never entered the race course complex. Thanks Google Earth for showing me its innards.

So has anyone called the Google Earth team yet? We want newer and better resolution images of Bangalore there. Anyone listening!?
