Pirated CD’s in Bangalore

Bangalore is becoming home for many things, now it is for Pirated CD’s, this has been proved on Saturday.
DCP Ravikanthe Gowda & ACP B.K.Shiveram had raided 25 shops on SP Road and 2 houses at Chamarajpete on Saturday and seized the duplicate cd worth more than 30 lakh.
The CD’s ranging from latest movies of Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil & Telugu.
Police have arrested 15 persons till now & searching for a man behind this huge scam.
It was noticed many times that this kind of pirated CD were available in open market at Majestic & SP Road area.

At this moment I just appeal to everyone to avoid buying Pirated CD’s & promote to buy only original CD’s

    Dear shadow/praveen

The very reason piracy thrives is the exobirent cost at which the originals are sold.
Example – any DVD is 500 INR+ while the same is available at the cost of a DVD which is 100 or 150 The same is true of audio CD of local languages. The message from these things to original copy right holders is to make it available at affordable cost rather than try to make money at one go.

The biggest piracy makers are the home DVD/VCD rental folks. The other day one of these guys was telling me sir how can i invest 275 INR for original VCD and rent it at 15/rs.. i cant even recoup my investment and hence buy things from SP road…
