Gone with the Wind!

Oh Boy! Oh Boy!

It has been a mind blowing weekend, ahem, wind blowing rather :)

The feeling was really good though! You realize that you are not in control of your hairstyle. My relatives were freaked out when I entered their house.

I lost my good old umbrella – it just flew and when I finally caught hold of it, it was broken :(

What did you lose?

I live in the Brookefields area and a lot of this place is still open area. My home is on the 4 th floor and we had put clothes out to dry on the ropes tied above. We lost 3 pieces of clothing and retrieved back 5 other pieces that were scattered elsewhere in the apartment complex. Many of the residents in upper floors lost a lot more in terms of broken glasses and fallen vases. The night was punctuated with heavy sounds of slamming doors that were left ajar. Quite a windy weekend, this one!

Kanth, you are telling me. Yesterday around 4ish I was around Kamanahalli/HRBR layout Ring Road and more than once, I really thought I’d be swept away by the sheer force of the wind! Whoo-boy, the feeling was something else – being powerless to do anything!

I was returning back from my native by Bike. It was totally difficult to stay in the road — it was like someone pulling (with some invisible rope) the bike to the edge of the road… but it was fun :)

I lost my self control and indulged in the lovely weather with cups of tea and hot deep fried snacks!

Usha! Me too! Pakodas! And we’ve tied our clothes dryer (the aluminium kind that you hang clothes out in the sun to dry) to the railing with ropes. Otherwise I’m sure we’d have lost them. The lamp post in front of our house collapsed. It’s a miracle it did not fall on a car or something.
