Well, My two favourite spots in Bangalore to drive by are next to the Golf course/Le Meredien, and along the boulevard from South End, Jayanagar. The latter isnt a building, but is much monumental in Bangalore being what it is. Prestige Meridian is a good-looking building.

Hi Anita. Nice choice to start showcasing Bangalore. I only hope the government is as credit worthy! :-) Talking about buildings, Aratta Kacheri (the high court) that you mention is also a beautiful one. The GPO (bang opposite VS) is also quite a grand one. I have not been the Bangalore Palace, said to be built in Tudor style, but it should also be pretty good considering what people have been telling me till date. There is a little known place near Market, called Tipu's Summer Palace. It is close to the Sri Venkatanarayanaswamy Temple over there. Wood columns, exquisite panelling works... and neatly maintained lawns. We can go on and on... There is always lots to discover in this great city!

Hi Anita,
Seems like you've beaten me to it. I too wanted to begin my posts here with an aspect that is eponymous to Bangalore. Anyway, Vidhana Soudha inspires awe in me too whenever I see the building!
Cheers,
Ravi
